There is no doubt, after watching this 35 year old "man-boy" speak, he is a very special person.

He was in his late 30s in 2007. The 23 year old comment was clearly sarcasm/a joke

Interesting watch. Didn't know he was so heavily involved with SpaceX on 2007

Yes, back before many successes, which have made him truly hateful to the marxists.
E.g., the love/hate w firebombs/emerging re-admiration for Tesla. Comical stuff.

He is unfazed by his repeated success.

I loved his response related to his office. He simply works in a cubicle like everyone else. Obviously keeping it simple gives him time to focus on his projects. So many geniuses tend to do the very same thing regarding daily tasks. Maybe one of them created the acronym KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid).

For the rest of us, we call it ambition.

The guy did a good job with questions and let Elon answer. Glad I watched.

Weirdest part? Interviewer actually paused mid sentence to hear answers.

WUT???

He established SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies) in 2001, about 2yrs before he even hooked up with the Tesla guys.

Tons of great info in his biography by Isaacson regarding the start of SpaceX and his trips to Russia trying to buy rockets.
