Nah. We knew that the Dems were going to throw this tantrum after their midterm gains.

Now McConnell's swamp needs to be watched closely. I'm already annoyed that turtle has gone on the record saying there's going to be a trial after this evidence-less, partisan circus in the House.

I dismissed it as a political stunt when I saw the transcript. It just solidified my vote in 2020.

I think it is fracturing the left while galvanizing the right.

It will pull 80+ million out to vote for the man.

I don't know rump, our statewide newspaper, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, is doing one helluva job keeping the impeachment story at the top of their front page headline every damn day. It's always slighted against Trump, never the Dems. Hell, the paper has yet to mention the Biden connection to Ukraine. Of course all the letters to the editor are Trump bashers so it seems the paper is doing its part to keep the conversation going here in Ark. Of course the Dems in this state gave the nation the Clintons so that speaks for itself also.

The problem is this has strung on for 3+ years and everyone is immune to it. Nobody really gives a shite about the DEM crimes because it has become everyday expected news. In proper times with a Free Press, this country should be protesting like Hong Kong over the DEM's corruption. Instead you have a President going through impeachment hearings because of the other side's corruption and 50% of the country is happy about it.

If you don’t think the country is fractured, probably beyond repair I don’t think you have been paying attention.

The belief that we are too stupid to know what is good for us has been cemented into the Democratic Party, and to be fair into a significant fraction of the Republican Party.

Impeachment is a non-story because it's been an ongoing crusade the last 3 years... falling on deaf ears.

You can only cry wolf so many times.

The reason the impeachment effort bothers me is because it confirms my worst fear that the Dem goal is to complete the transformation of America into a Communist country.
Trump is a temporary barrier and it frustrates them. Their goal is to make every attempt to remove that barrier. If they fail, so be it. The effort is justified. And they know Trump will be gone by 2024.

Their greatest fear is that he will get two more appointments to the SC. The thought of having a solid majority of justices who believe in the Constitution is gonna make them go bat shite crazy during the confirmation process. If you thought Kavanaugh was a circus, just wait.

If you look at history, the main "divisions" promoted in the US have been headed by one party.

This should be no surprise.
