I think Rands resolution may actually matter. Because there are probably ten Republican Senators who would to convict Trump if it was a secret ballot.

Cassidy just said on WWL-TV that he wants to see the "evidence" before he makes up his mind. He said bombs were planted and if the FBI warned Trump, then he would vote to convict. Sorry no link... was on TV.

Forty-five Republican senators voted earlier today in favor of Sen. Rand Paul's motion that impeaching a President who is no longer in office is unconstitutional. Only five voted against the motion.
