Only assumption is they know Barr and Trump are coming after them so they will try to discredit Barr’s investigations saying it was retaliation for impeachment. That’s all I got at this point.

Some nutjob Rep from Texas tried to introduce articles of impeachment like a year or two ago, but other than that, I don’t know if any other formal articles that have been introduced.

Words like impeach, nazi, racist, etc. used to carry weight. People throw out the most outlandish labels they can to try and bring down people who disagree with them.
