Their asylum claim is still likely to be denied but since it took 5 years or more to even get their case into court, how many birthright citizens have they created in that time period? Aaaaaaand cue the melodramatic wailing about “deporting American children” and/or “separating families” that we just heard a few weeks ago.
They knew exactly what they were doing and have the media at the ready to push the next chapter of the sob story. They weren’t expecting Trump 2.0, the Homanator or the American people to become so sick of the rehearsed sob stories that we respond with “yes, this is exactly what I voted for.”
