Only one of us made assumption as to race and that was you. And you assumed incorrectly.

I am white.

I think it telling that you assumed that someone who acknowledges how the racism of whites has impacted blacks must be black. And you didn't imagine that a white man would be critical of whites.

Wrong again. I never called you a racist. And the only person I stereotyped as a gauge-watcher at a chemical plant was you. And you had that coming for having made me out to be someone who only watches CNN, has never traveled the world, and has led a sheltered life, now didn't you? It was you who went personal first.

Now, how is it exactly that I am a "racist"? In my being a white person who is critical of the institutionalized racism practiced against blacks, maybe? A person who is sympathetic to the plight of another race is "racist"? Really?
