Damn right - those damned dirty medical experts butting in on all of us sick people, telling us what to do with our lives. Why don't they mind their own fricking business?!?!?

And those fricking irresponsible old sick people, always hanging out in crowds, taking over the bingo halls, dancing at the dance clubs, picking up chicks at the Wal-mart. Our Women!!! Talking about their generation like it's hot shite - all that crap about "we fought the big war". It's always Me Me Me. I think they make up more than half of the inner-city gangs, too. Thug life on top of all the other stuff. It's horrible.....

They are medieval priests and you are a peasant

Never ever question an “expert” because they never ever let personal biases cloud their views

You could actually tell me where I'm incorrect. You think more than 5% of the public knew who Fauci was 2 months ago?

Doesn't seem like a particularly relevant detail

You probably never heard of some guy that made cellular patents for Motrolla but you wouldn't be silly enough to think you know more about cellular communications than him.

We've had good data since February, there was never a reason to shut things down.... we know who is going to be impacted by this.
What "good" data did we have from February (certainly not testing) that showed there was never a reason to shut things down?

Yep I feel the exact same way as I do about "climate scientists." Anytime the media has to constantly remind you these people are "experts" you usually should be wary of what they are pushing

I'm going to stop brushing my teeth since all of these expert dentists recommend that you do it regularly

It's thanks to their hard work and effort we can no longer throw our empty beer can out the window as we drive by the rare helmeted and padded and reflective cyclist. Used to be people rode bikes without all that shite on. No it's almost if not literally illegal to cycle without it.

Thank them for seatbelt laws, drunk driving absurdly low levels, skateboard equipment laws, the disappearance of roller skaters, food calorie counts/charts/labels, the disappearance of lawn darts... the list of things goes on and on that Dr.'s got rid of and over regulated.
dont forget the nets on trampolines... but yeah, it sounds like lawyers and litigation are more responsible for all of those changes

You are going to put your money where your mouth is by self medicating with supplements next time you feel sick, right? It would be a bad look for you to run to the hospital next time you feel sick.

Very interesting interview with Dr. Paul Cottrell fro 3/18.

Interesting guy, background in finance, engineering and medicine.

He also ends the interview and you realize he loves freedom and is worried about how this will impact our country.

If you have a free hour it may be worth a watch.

You may be underestimating the hubris of some of the posters here.

This is a common problem when you let people directly involved address a problem

I'm not saying don't include them because that would be silly. But you have to recognize that they are going to be horrendous single variable thinkers

They aren't going to Care much about the problems not directly affecting their profession.

it's not because they have bad character it's just because that's normal human behavior

That would be silly.

But if you needed advice on something where BOTH teeth and some very important non dental related thing were being debated, just know that the dentist will always prioritize the teeth so, perhaps he's not the best guy to ask

well, we do need them...so there is that

we are at day 9 or 10 in the 15 day hold ...that we all essentially agreed to do..

that was the min...

so we are only 2/3rds way there after today on that short journey

I predicted after 2 weeks the country would get very anxious to go back to work.

appears I may have over-estimated

Our schools are closed until at least May 15th, so that is pretty discouraging because I know whatever the government is doing locally, well, everyone around them will be feeling public pressure to follow "them".

Easter would be one month before our schools are ok going back

It seems the POTUS is more like business owners than these overly emotional liberals that are going to stress us all out "It's too soon"

on social media, they are hammering Trump "he has to shut up and listen to the experts"

Most of them are liberal hacks who parrot the liberal sycophant media opinions.

Those are the nutjobs everyone is talking about. We've had data for over a month now... there never was a reason to shut all this down and go full retard.

No common sense with these nutjobs.
