if you looked at all of human history 99 plus percent of people would look at a day in her life as paradise.
Which is my point. These people have been brainwashed.
Talk to people my grandparent's age. They farmed or worked in coal mines or lumber mills for a living.
Good grief we've become soft.

Sure they can. They could afford a pre-fab modular home or a trailer. If not, they have no business looking to buy anyway.

Life today is easier than its ever been, and that is part of the problem.
Comfort is going to be our destruction, not poverty.

Brooklen Farley is a 25-year-old massage therapist in Texas who's decided not to have kids.
Growing up, she thought she'd become a mother, but the realities of the world changed her mind.
Because of the economy and the climate crisis, she's instead focused on her partner and her pets.
Her view is the problem of young Americans today. Selfish and soft. Rather than raise children that make a positive impact on society, just focus on self and never even try. As other have pointed out, she would probably not make a good mother anyway so this works out.

"Climate crisis"
You have to admit, the level of brainwashing is impressive...

Yep. You hit it on the head.

You certainly think you have all the answers.
If someone lives and works in a city with no personal vehicle, I’m not sure where they’d put their trailer.
But I’m sure you have a solution for that too.

Wow, how rude.

You put a trailer in a trailer park. Do you really not know this?
And yes, the solution is to find a job elsewhere and move out of the city. Cities have the most unaffordable housing in the country. If owning a house is of paramount importance, then the city is the last place you should be. That's why most people who live in a city rent.

I'm likewise sure that a solution exists for just about every whine you can post. All it takes is living like people my parent's age did, namely adapting to the circumstances instead of standing around whining that the circumstances aren't adapting to you and expecting the government to force circumstances to adapt tp you.

The "Economic Crisis for Gen-Z" is just as impressive.

Nobody votes for government regulations.
Ever time someone votes for a Democrat, they vote for government regulations.
Obama spent his entire two terms increasing government regulations and the first thing Trump did was sign a stack of executive orders rolling them back. Then, since that was accomplished by executive order, the first thing Biden did was reverse Trump's roll-backs.
Claiming that you aren't voting for regulations to increase when you vote Democrat is like claiming you aren't voting for a more constitutional judiciary when you vote for a Republican. No one votes for the judges that presidents appoint either, but do you think Clinton would have appointed the ones Trump appointed?
Let's not play games.

So people need to move to trailer parks and hope they can find work nearby? Or just accept commuting long distances by bus or car? This is your answer to the housing crisis?

But I also have empathy and am able to see things from perspectives other than my own personal one. That's what you're lacking. You seem to be extremely self-involved.

Yes, its called being self sufficient.
The alternative is waiting for the government to save you.

People should plan ahead and prioritize their needs and wants. When someone says "why can't I afford a house?", what they're really asking is "why can't I afford a house after all of the decisions I've made prior to now?"
But answering that second question honestly will require some self assessment, and what they want is an easy answer that ignores all their prior decisions. Life doesn't work that way.
