The best outcome right now is something similiar to Venezuela. The regime survives but it is less crazy than previous regime leadership.

Stop starting wars in the Middle East. We all seemed to agree on this not very long ago.

Yeah, this entire operation has been horribly planned since the beginning. Who could have possibly foreseen any of this?

Trump (for once in his whole life) is speaking literally and truthfully about killing the entire country of Iran if they won't give in.
holy shite, no he isn’t. It’s typical Trump social media bluster, and that’s what they know.
Maybe, just maybe they fired too many generals who actually had experience with combat and combat in the Middle East specifically, and filled key positions with yes men and social media personalities.

For clarity, you're of the position that there's zero reason for US participation in OEF other than Israel asked us to?
Yes, and they didn’t ask.

So again, we need to go to war with Israel, right?
If they can control our government, we've goto to do something about that, right?

If we do this, do it right. The operation requires ground troops. A lot of them. I’m skeptical that an air campaign can lead to change by itself.

Is there anything you disagree with Trump about? Explain.

Focus on America first? That's what I got excited about the last three elections when I voted for him.

Boots on the ground?
Regime change?
Targeted assassinations?

You’re being a smart-arse. AIPAC doesn’t spend all that lobbying money for no reason.

But that would involve explaining and defending his own views. A lot of folks here would rather make claims about what others believe than talk about their own beliefs.

No, I'm not. I do think that Israel forcing the US to go to war is a far-out thing to assert, but I'm willing to concede that I could be wrong. Let's say you're right.
That's never happened to the US before. I would think we'd be ready to unleash a whirlwind the likes of which the world has never seen on that. Because if they can force us to fight a conventional war, they can force us to fight a nuclear one.

You realize that it is illegal for Israel to contribute to AIPAC, right? You have to be an American citizen to contribute to a PAC.
You also realize that, for example, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Realtors spend far more money lobbying politicians than the AIPAC, right? I'm looking at a list of the top 10 spenders and the AIPAC isn't on it. The first two I listed there outspend the AIPAC 10-14 fold.
So is that really what you think is happening? The AIPAC controls whether we go to war or not?
Do you also believe that realtors made Trump go to war with Iran?
