Left the Democrat Party over 30 years ago, I’ve never questioned my decision. I find the conservative folks in many ways more inclusive than progressives.

I’m not, but I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt. I’m trying to hold him accountable to what he said in the OP that’s all. He says he’s against the direction of where the left is taking us and so am I. It’s common ground which in today’s climate is rare.

Progressives were generally an honorable bunch during George W's presidency. I don't really understand what happened. I think they got drunk on power during Obama, kept pushing the envelope too much with things like tranny bathrooms and rioting every time a cop killed a black man without looking at the facts (I think we all agree the book needs to be thrown at Chauvin here), and perhaps Soros did take over the party. But, the most upsetting aspect is they are no longer the party of free speech. Anything counter to their ideology is hate speech and must be stifled. This is driving reasonable people away from the party.

You do realize the police reform you say must happen is because of the policies the dims implemented in the 90's .....soooo all your righteousness has actually just been racism this whole time while supporting these people. So who again actually turned a “blind eye” to these inequalities??

Significant police reform must and will happen, but it has gone way way way beyond that at this point.
None of this means I anything of you continue to pull the lever for Democrats.
The Republicans have their issues for sure, but any Democrat who doesn’t like what is happening in their party right now but still votes for them is a fool and only making the problem on the Party worse.
You want the Democratic Party to come back to the center, start voting against them.
