Ebridg3: "Food is too expensive."

Also Ebridg3 "We should force people to buy the expensive food for others."

How about we limit to healthy food instead of colas and potato chips?

This.

Have a list of allowable and non allowable items to purchase with it.

Designated stores to get food out.

You have 4 in household.
Here is your box of food

Poor. Anything done now via executive order will be undone by Democrats.

Might work for a year or two, then disappear.

Have you noticed, the more you post, the more you sound like lefties or the Only-Trump guys last year? What a time to be alive.

Whoa, a meme? Isn't that a "pop culture icon", as you stated a couple days ago? You better go sterilize yourself, you are wandering into mass media territory.

Again, it's 6 am and you are here shitposting.

Youre a socialist. You accept Donny's economics with no pushback.

quote:

A command economy is an economic system where the government centrally plans and controls production, pricing, and distribution of goods and services, often resulting in public ownership of industries.

Youre far closer to Bernie Sanders than I would be in 100 lifetimes, Che.

For the last time, healthy food is some of the least expensive foods in the store. For one box of $8 cereal I can get a package of chicken and stuff to make a salad. Bananas are .47 per pound. A sack of beans is a dollar. A dozen eggs is $3. This is the same false reasoning repeated over and over by people too lazy to cook and clean up. I think grocery stores in said food deserts should ONLY contain fresh foods and healthy staples. Nobody is stealing beans and canned tomatoes from grocery stores. Fresh stores would be thief proof. Instead of giving fungible snap cards that can be sold, a store credit should be issued directly to the grocer in the recipients name each month.

Someone on this board posted how they ate three meals a day for an entire week on $12. She didn’t buy one processed food item.

I agree that the chances of that happening are Zero.

Congress will never act on such a controversial issue.

And you are right - all of Trump's actions done by EO will be undone immediately on Day One of the next Dem POTUS.

Congress is irrelevant now, and this might be a permanent thing. I believe we rule by EO now.

The constitution seems almost irrelevant with modern politicians.

Again, it's 6:30 AM in Alaska. You really have nothing else better to do than start shitposting on TD? Every post you make just confirms that you really, REALLY, need to get a life.

Congressmembers would be in favor of that, because they hate to legislate. It's hard work. They would rather go on CNN and Fox to get well known so they can be reelected or voted to higher office.

We are IMHO approaching the final phases of the History of the USA.

There is nothing wrong with SNAP, per se, but it needs to only pay for the basics.

All welfare needs to be reigned in. It should never be a lifestyle choice.

A truthful one. Enjoy your type of socialism. Hint: It will NOT benefit you in the least.

We need a Consertive ideals thread, where you folks are re-educated on how to think outside the "free shite" box.
