He said Trump is more concerned with theater than addressing the issue.

You won’t do either of those because you’re more committed to your ideological claptrap than reality.
If you don't understand the difference between civilian law enforcement (FBI) and military (NG) support then I think you're the one being intellectually dishonest to be quite honest. The conservative state's city gets the support that doesn't look like an occupation; the liberal state's city has the military patrolling their streets potentially declaring and enforcing curfews, etc.
I'm not against the federal government lending support to high crime cities. I just think the way this is being done is cynical political theater with these liberal cities.
GOP remembers stuff like Texans losing their minds over training exercises like Jade Helm. They aren't going to do NG activations in conservative states because of that skeptical sentiment towards the federal government deploying soldiers in their state.

If we re being honest the Insurrection Act applies here, the local authorities cannot keep the peace and the President is more than justified given these casualty counts week after week to step in and restore order.
No way that idiot governor nor the mayor can defend these stats and say his city is under control.
