quote:

The Justice Department’s inspector general told Attorney General William Barr on Friday that he completed his investigation into possible FBI abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act during the Trump-Russia probe, according to the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee. Georgia Rep. Doug Collins disclosed the development in a letter calling on House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler to invite the inspector general, Michael Horowitz, and FBI Director Christopher Wray to testify before the panel once his report is released.

The report will now go through a classification review to determine what information will be made public.

Trying to get ahead of a story???

So predictable. I was close to making a wager that today would be the day because of that fact.

I thought this is where we were last week? In classification review? So is the only news to this that Collins asked Nadler to haul them in?

Hauling in Horowitz makes sense for the public purview; but hauling in Wray is very interesting...

Once that's decided, McCabe won't be around to walk anywhere. Like Epstein his guilt will be to overwhelming to live with.

I took it as it “is officially submitted” and that it is Nadler’s move to do something about it.

Watch this report basically spin around the abuse and illegalities and end up just saying some bullshite like, “They didn’t follow traditional procedures.”, and “we're leaving it up to the DOJ to determine if there’s enough for criminal charges”.

It’ll be just enough for the Dems to scream “Nothing criminal found!!”

You just know that bullshite is coming.

Yeah and I think they need to haul Wray in but Nadler won't.

Don't all of the people in the report get to read it and file their recant? Or are we done with that and on classification review?

Think thats a safe bet. Half the country doesn't have a clue and would support this if they did...cause you know, orange man bad- literally hitler.

Of those who would care- majority are to busy with snapchat to give two shites.

To actually follow the story you have to dig. Media has not, and will not, report on it accurately. Most just don't care enough.

So wave goodbye to the American Dream. It's now "some people" vs. the Dems and Deep State....with Deep State having unlimited resources and control of the FBI, CIA, IRS, DOJ, etc. We are watching Rome burn and don't know it.

No clue at this point. Nothing has been truly transparent in any of this since day one. Nothing. That’s why I think they are going to minimize it all and nobody is going down for anything.

Sucks. I’m usually a massive optimist. But I have zero faith justice will prevail in anything in DC.

Comey doing a press conference where he rambled off 10 confirmed illegal acts committed by Hillary, and then in the next breath saying no intent so she’s good and it’s over, convinced me nothing will ever happen to any of these people.

Admitted publicly to the world broken laws, but nada and over. Completely flaunting their two-tiered justice system in our faces without a care.

I just don’t believe a goddamn thing will happen to any of these dirty fricks.

Interesting that they want Horowitz and Wray to testify.

My hope is that it’s because some of the abuses under FISA - were actually legal under FISA and that this fricking abomination of a law is going to be modified, if not repealed so this can never happen again.

Reading between the lines, I don't see any "total exonerations."

I’m one of the few that think that there is no wiggling out of this. The only grey area is “to the best of their knowledge” when submitting evidence to FISA.

My thought through all of this is that most errors or misjudgment would get buried as the government is generally loathe to either cede a tool of investigation, or open up prior cases to new appeals, particularly as it relates to terror or security.

If something happened here, it would need to be sufficiently bad to move the needle.

Then this is put up or shut up time and if these frickers walk away with no jail time then I’m convinced they will get away with all of it. Fingers are crossed that this is the real
“It’s Happening” moment we have been waiting for !
