look in the mirror. you come post here because everyone agrees with you. that's the exact same thing the liberals do. I don't mind being disagreed with, that is the basis of democracy.

I doubt that
Well then you aren't making sense because all 10 of my votes would line up with how SOMEONE in DC would vote and you've told me 99% of them are compromised.

You need to make up your mind.

Voting 3rd party isn't disagreement.

What makes you think it is?

I'm pretty damned conservative.

Depending on which 10 you chose, there's an awfully good chance that all of my votes would be the same as those cast by the majority of Republicans.

Are you thinking you're gonna find someone who votes with Cruz 50% of the time and Pelosi the other 50%?

Possibly, yes. Generally my disagreements with the Republicans are because they aren't conservative enough. But, if my choice is between an 80% satisfactory bill vs a 10%, I'll vote for the 80% almost every time.

Why don’t you wait until a libertarian actually has a chance. You are just wasting votes

It's like this dude think there's this 3rd set of completely different ideas out there that have never even been thought of by Reps or Dems.

I'd just be happy having 1 not vote for stimulus checks like the "CARES act"

Disagree.

That's how the system is supposed to work, we vote for the person who best represents our views on issues.

I loathe the current two party system and by not participating, I've done my duty.

That's fair, but you as a politician have to know what the majority of your constituents want, and, because of forced shutdowns of businesses they wanted that on both sides of the aisle.

You make this sound simple. But let's walk thru this from me, as a conservative.

I would have opposed ALL, repeat ALL shut downs that came out of COVID. Not only that, I would have done everything in my power to prevent state level tyrants from doing the same.

HOWEVER, they ended up happening.

So, at the point, you have 10s of millions of people who were DIRECTLY HARMED by their government. Not by some accident or ancillary effect but by a perfectly easy straight line cause and effect.

I, as a conservative have a real problem with government saying, "Here, let me destroy your shite and then, after doing so, do nothing to mitigate what I've done".

So, as much as I'd fricking hate it, the right thing to do after you've totally fricked people is to attempt to unfrick them.
