You are either part of the fcking United States or you arent.
I agree they should be cooperating but they have this legal right. If you feel this strongly about it, you should get involved in the political process to change it instead of bitching about it on a board.
Also remember, you want this right to be there in case a liberal federal administration comes to your state and demands that you assist with some policy you find unethical or immoral. What will you do then, just bitch?

What happened to Arbery is a tragedy. What caused his death is not white racism, but fear through division stoked by the left.
In a world where people are taught to respect others and their property, and to see themselves even remotely as part of the same culture and not a victim of the predominant culture, Ahmaud Arbery’s behavior is seen as completely reckless and leading to his own death.
The faction who are outraged at the behavior of the neighbors who tried to stop Arbery and ultimately shot him, are so steeped in the narrative of blacks as perpetual victims, they would blame the white driver of a car who struck a black person playing basketball on the I-10 in heavy traffic.
Switch the races of the Arbery case and the scenario transforms before your eyes.
