Conclusion
President Trump’s new budget would severely damage an array of investments that help many of the very people he has said would be his priority — people who have been left behind by today’s economy or live in distressed urban or rural communities. Coming on the heels of a costly tax cut that’s heavily tilted to the nation’s wealthiest households and corporations, the budget highlights the vast gulf between President Trump’s promises and his actual policies.
I guess you are employed by a poor man!
Please, Turn Off MSM!!

Your link just shows some cuts, which Trump made up for by expanding other budgets.
Primarily the "deep state" budget.
Primarily the "deep state" budget.

If the age is increased for SS benefits will they stop raising the income limits for payroll taxes? The feds rates the income limits on payroll taxes every year. 2023 the income limit was $168k.

Presidents of both parties have been spending like crazy
That's not how the government works.
Republicans have held the House for 22 of the last 30 years. Why has the party of fiscal responsibility and small government allowed this level of deficit spending in the government?

Sounds like a non functional system. Maybe we do need monarchs over "democracy"
Not sure about monarchs, but the idea of universal voting is broken.
This is the outcome.
Our system clearly does not work.

Guys advocating for increasing the age of receiving benefits would you meet some politicians in the middle with an increase in payroll taxes?

Whether this means going back to something so strict as "only land-owning Christian males may vote" or something less strict would likely be the next step.
“Something given has no value.”
Voting rights are simply given, not earned.
Not everyone should vote.
I would start with public employees.

I see what you did there. Who held the Senate? The last balanced budget I can remember was when Newt Gingrich was House Majority leader and the Senate was also held by Republicans.
Heck, it was the first time in 29 years the budget was to be balanced. Slick Willy was drug into the signing room kicking and screaming because he knew a veto would be over-ridden.
The very last thing the MSM (Lying Media) wants in this country is a super-majority GOP congress. The Lying Media (MSM) does not want a balanced budget but only a very weak USA!!

Clinton was fiscally conservative and balanced the budget.
Gingrich rammed modest spending cuts down Clinton's throat while he cried and squealed about single mothers. But those spending cuts didn't balance the budget, it was the internet fueled stock market explosion and the newly ubiquitous 401k investment capital that balanced the budget. Clinton simply took credit after the fact.

hey'll raise taxes, it's inevitable at this point. No one has a plan to cut the deficit.
Taking money back from the tax payer after the print it is just about the only way they have left to hedge inflation.
They won't quit printing, so they will have to steal it back.

Yessir.
Once you give govt funding its not going away. I dont see willpower among the public to make cuts when the markets are paying out.
This scheme works great for those with wealth, not so much for guys who live on income.
All theyre doing is raising the window.

Clinton did not even know what the real meaning of "is" was at that time. As a matter of fact, he scared the American people so much after 1st getting elected, they gave him a super-majority GOP Congress 2 years later who then skull drug him to sign the balanced budget that he later took credit for.
Please remember, in both of Slick Willie's elections, there was a 3rd party candidate that hurt the GOP candidate. Slick's vote totals are worse than Hilarys!!

Bill Clinton was sitting in the right place at the right time. Revenue was shooting to the moon due to Reagan’s economy and the USSR fell which allowed for a gigantic cut in our military spending. On top of all of that, Newt Gingrich, and the Republican congress, forced Clinton to sign welfare reform, which saved even more.
