All this "the polls are tightening" is pure garbage. No one, no one, has changed their mind in the last 2-3 months. No one will change their mind in the next 2 weeks.

If Trump wins, I'm not even sure I would blame polling methods. It's 2020, they should know by now how to poll accurately.

If Trump wins, I will be convinced that this entire polling scheme is just a made up game meant to attempt to influence public opinion. These pollsters know their credibility is about to be forever tarnished and they will be treated no differently than fortune tellers, and they are trying to now save face.

Polling, like the media, like being in politics, was, one time a long time ago, an honorable profession. Now they are just frauds.

We stopped believing in polls in 2016.

He already won in 2016. Polls had him losing then.

Nothing's changed, except a shittier candidate is running against him.

People feel like they are in danger for saying they are voting for Trump, and I think that's massively skewing the polls. I'm not voting for the man, nor do I like him, but the idea that voting for a sitting president means you can get your life ruined is insane.

I was willing to give them a pass in 2016. That was an election unlike any previous one. But any technical issues should be cleaned up by now.

Polling is a business to influence, not inform.

Many of these same people distrust the government. It's not hard to think that the government knows who you voted for.

I guess they are willing to take the risk in an actual election, and not take the risk in a poll.

They aren't worried about the government, they are worried about the nutjobs who will dig through your life based on a single opinion. These people are psycho, and even posting some of the most vanilla crap on Reddit had someone dig through my post history to confirm I "wasn't a Nazi".

It's unbelievable. I live in Seattle and have kept my politics under the covers for years. A friend of over 20 years didn't talk to me for months bc I said Trump was pro filling Tiger Stadium and that it was a good thing. I'm in East Germany.

THIS is the core of my experience with completely irrational behavior by DEM-MARXIST supporters - and I find it completely unacceptable in every way.

It is a personal fault of the perpetrator and I will never honor such a thing.

This is what trained me to understand that these people were attempting to project THEIR behavior on others - THEIR "DEPLORABLES"

THEY were and remain the DEPLORABLES.

THEY TAUGHT ME to NOT remain silent - and I will not...

Polls should not be believed now. There are even MORE silent Trump voters than there were in 2016.

That is really the sad thing. If a friend told me they were voting Democrat, I would laugh and go on being their friend. On the flip side, I told a friend I was voting Republican, and they stopped talking to me.

I think that the left has gone so far as to be dangerous if you tell them the truth about how you are going to vote. Sad really, but they have become the Brown Shirts of Hitler's time.

Antifa and BLM are the modern day equivalents of the KKK, Nazis and Marxism. All violent, all dangerous, and we need to understand that.

They spent the last 4 years explain why they got it wrong instead of changing how they are determined.

They want you to visit their site so google will pay them

It's all Bullschiff, Trump is going to win in a landslide. Seriously, what candidate gets some ice cream and takes a week long nap 2 weeks before we vote?

Polling these days is just used to sway, not convey.

They know a good bit of Americans are just impressionable followers who can be easily influenced by made up numbers.
