It will be an easy win for true Americans - he's just said it's not a big enough emergency to enact immediately, he can wait two weeks.
Plus, his emergency powers are intended for when Congress wouldn't have time to act - Congress will have 3 weeks to not approve the wall.

It wouldn't be a national emergency if it wasn't for the fact that tens of thousands of "migrants" are still illegally crossing our southern border each month and the fact that thousands of people have been murdered in the USA by "migrants" who illegally crossed our southern border as well as the fact that thousands of people have died or had their lives ruined from the drugs that have been illegally smuggled into the USA across our southern border.

Once again, were it an emergency and the President wanted to protect the citizens he should have declared it immediately upon being elected. Instead, it's been drawn out for 2 years in muddled politics. Imagine the lives that could have been saved

Cite? And please don't tell me you are going by the number parroted by Trump that came from an activist in Arizona. There's no way someone would use that number as there is no (zero, nada, nothing, 0) data to back it up. If you are going to throw numbers out, please do us all a favor and provide a source.
Edit: And if there have been thousands of citizens killed by illegal immigrants then it is imperative that we stop playing games and declare a national emergency today. Not tomorrow, not 3 weeks, today. Otherwise, it kinda comes off as not an emergency.
