I did a quick check with Wiki and Insurrection/Rebellion is a specifically named exception and exemption to the PC law.

Cool story bro, sorry you can't understand why illegal aliens are unlawful

Whether illegal aliens are here illegally isn't in question. What is in question is the legality of a city's refraining from providing pro bono cooperation to the federal government in immigration cases.

You are unable to cite a law stating that this practice is illegal, so...

frick your feelings.

Ah indeed you are correct.

I'm thinking military deployment and contravening militia response in defense of liberty would be the opening act for the party.

Ballot box in a entirely corrupt system seems to be finally working well right now

What a sanctuary city does is refrain from providing pro bono cooperation with the federal government. Is that the same thing as this? Seems like a stretch.

The VCDL responded already.

Their charter apparently is limited to Virginia so they aren't able to have chapters in other states. Dang it.

She made a good point, the local resolutions are written by the law makers in those counties or cities. She did say that some are using Constitutional Sanctuary language instead.

She is willing to entertain product ideas to help their store. I'll get involved there for sure. I'm going to become a member anyway even without being able to start a chapter here.

Sanctuary laws may run afoul of 8 U.S.C. 1373.

The case is pending.

Doesn't really answer the question. Obviously a cloudy issue.

Bingo. And that's why we have the 2nd amendment to begin with.

It fundamentally shifts the balance of power away from the Federal government and back towards the people.

That sounds great until you realize the left doesn't care for law and order unless it makes their path towards a socialist society easier and they trample all over the Constitution on the reg. For proof check out the impeachment fiasco. Trump's constitutional rights have been violated worse than an underage girl spending the wknd with Jeffery Epstien.

Trump isn't a criminal? That's a laugh. He's as dirty as they come. Ignoring black letter law over and over again. Barr is killing any semblance of fair law enforcement.

So far he's been rich and powerful enough to avoid prison. That streak needs to end. If it doesn't then democracy in the USA will die.
