If the Repubs lose both the House + Senate in November, does Trump complete his term?

There is ZERO chance of the GOP losing the Senate in 2018. ZERO.

It's not even on their wish list because they know it isn't possible.

I predict now that with Ryan stepping down the voters won't have to hold their nose too much voting for a R. They sure as hell won't vote D unless they bus them all in from Tijuana.

I don't anticipate it but just on gut feeling, I wouldn't be surprised to see the R's take the house and hold the Senate.

But like I said, I don't anticipate that. It's just that nothing outside of the Q thread makes much sense any more so this would make perfect sense.

Good luck getting 66 votes to remove him from office.

The more I think about it, the less likely it is that Trump is impeached. Dems will take the House and shut down Trump's agenda. They will keep Mueller going and keep up the smear campaign, and hope that is enough to get Trump out in 2020. Impeachment vote could help Trump in re-election.

That said, Mueller and his team have put people in jail on fake bullshite in the past and that can't be discounted. If they can gin something up, they may go for the full deal. If they defeat Trump in 2020, then expect the next Dem USAG to take Mueller's findings and look to put Trump in jail.

It isn't zero. The dems have a path to winning the senate, it would just take an incredible run on their part. I seriously doubt that they will do it, but the chance is not zero. More like 25%.

Anyway, Trump isn't getting impeached. He might resign, prolly not though. He doesn't seem to have that sort of temperament to give up.

Huh, I would presume the House is safer.
