If the historic levels of black support for Trump are true

You have to throw out conventional wisdom for this election. Why? Because the majority of black voters are registered Democrats. Well what does that mean exactly? It means that if there is a large percentage of blacks voting for Trump and they are requesting mail in ballots, they more than likely are requesting them as registered Democrats. If that holds true, we are in for some incredible results come election night.

I could see black males going 20% Trump.
That 10-20% jump alone in Michigan/Pennsylvania could easily swing those states.

Four years ago I would have agreed with you. I simply don’t believe you can rely on the percentage anymore. Not saying Trump will get 40 or even 20 percent of the vote, but if it gets into the mid teens, the game is changed. Also his approval is not an anomaly. It’s been consistent among blacks for many many many months.

And that’s why I said in the op, if the support we are seeing is real, you can’t rely on conventional wisdom anymore. You can’t say Dems are outperforming repubs in mail in ballot requests because black Trump voters are more than likely requesting mail in ballots as registered Dems.

I think Trump wins bigger than most think. And I also think that when it's all said and done, the black vote will be about the same as it always is.

That may be accurate. I don't see Trump getting north of 10% like a lot of posters think. The brainwashing for decades doesn't get erased after a few years and in case anybody hasn't noticed that despite Trump's best efforts at reaching out to them he is routinely called a racist.
We will find out after this election but IMHO it'll take more than one GOP presidency to make a real dent.

The ones that are either successful businessmen that understand finance and economics or the ones work for industries like puke and gas. Like the blue collar workers have pension and/or 402k and want to retire.
