Except it didn't need to be classified, was declassified and ordered to be released to the public in a signed memorandum. Personally, I'm more concerned the DOJ didn't follow through with a legal presidential order. This attack on a basic executive power either means something or it means nothing. Can't be both.

If it wasn’t so serious, it’d be hilarious the sheer baboonery of this clown car administration. If for a moment you suspend reality and put Trump before a court in a criminal proceeding, the govt is going to have to provide answers as to why Trump was not given daily intel briefs like all former presidents. Why is that important? It’s because this administration and its DoJ are using it to underpin their argument because he didn’t, his possession of the documents is illegal. Mean tweets is not a valid reason either.
The other thing that’s problematic is that if Trump was in possession of Crossfire Hurricane documents. If those documents show how the previous administration (Obama/Biden) in coordination with the FBI and other intelligence agencies illegally targeted him, you’re going to have to explain how the raid of MAL to retrieve those documents is not a continuation of the Crossfire Hurricane operation.
