It is happening at pretty much every university now... LSU has been on the forefront of some and stood their ground on others... same at BAMA...

Just quit sending them money anyway.... what does any money you send them do for you?

Heading to Rouses shortly to spend my $500 weekly. Great store and great people. I hope they decide they decide to pull their sponsorship from LSU....they dont need it anyway, they dominate the grocery business is South LA!

That this is even up for discussion should be enough for you to bail. It's absurd. In real time, we're finding out it absolutely was NOT Trump or his supporters, but Antifa and BLM thugs who caused this ruckus, yet the MSM and Establishment Swampers are trying to tell us the opposite.

Don't fall for it.

So possibly parting ways with a corporate partner is where you draw the line, but LSU lighting up Tiger Stadium to honor a felon who spent his adult life violently victimizing others was ok?

I've no doubt LSU will do this. It'll make me sending my money elsewhere all the sweeter.

LSU had better watch out....

IMO, college athletics are supported by primarily White, conservative fans....and the way it is now, I could care less if LSU ever played another game, in any sport!
And I am born/raised in BR!

When the money pump fails, things change....think about that.

LSU thinks people will take it up the arse and still show up at games and still send money.

And they’re probably right.

Lots of huffin and puffin.

Bet there’s 100K in that stadium come this fall and winter (provided lockdowns are lifted).

I'm asking you why it took this long?

I've been a diehard LSU fan since the '80s and when the brass decided to light up TS with "Black Lives Matter" and "George Floyd" I cancelled my longstanding fanhood.

George Floyd was a criminal, first and foremost. Should he have died? No. Should he have resisted arrest? No. But still, LSU and other universities and the NFL and MLB and NBA and even NOOSECAR all jumped to conclusions before all the facts were even out.

Tell you what, I don't regret my decision. Spent more quality time with my family this fall and winter. Caught more fish this last 4 months than any late season in the last 25 years. If you're waiting for a liberal university to not get on its knees and suck of the the victim of the day, you're going to be disappointed.

Walk away. It's easier than you think.

I seriously don't even know what record LSU or anyone in the NCAAF had this year. Saw on local news where Bama won the NC so I'm assuming they raped LSU along the way. No idea if half the fans are holding their torches and pitchforks clamoring for the termination of the HC like every other off season. I assume yes.

While part of me does miss it all, I filled that void with family and fishing time, and am overall much happier about life in general, minus politics, than any time in recent memory.

Again... walk away.

BS. LSU could fill to 75% against the average SEC teams. And this is before Covid.

So when the smoke clears and they finally realize that this was an orchestrated event what will these knee jerkers say?

Collie has made all of his money fricking people royally in the pyramid scheme primerica. The real question is why the frick does LSU have him on any type of board of authority? Shows you what type of university it is.

LSU won’t get another cent from me

Oldskule we could be brothers. I was on a Chamber of Commerce trip with Collis once. Intelligent man but racist to the core and has taken advantage of his blackness for 50 years. Elections have consequences and and as long as JBE is governor we will have this problem to a large extent. Even with a change in the governor’s mansion LSU will need an overhaul in leadership. The leftist cancel culture in embedded and only new leadership can shift the pendulum back to the right. The right represents our state and the majority of our people and LSU needs to serve our people not the other way around.

Meanwhile support local business especially including Rouse’s and tell anybody from LSU who calls for a donation....not now.

Same with me at BDS. I gave mine up and they were premium seats. I am sure someone snatched them up but I don’t care it will not be my money going to support them.

Just yesterday, the LSU Amumni Office called me to donate....I told them HELL NO and hung the phone up

That’s hilarious.

I just did the EXACT SAME THING and I told them to take me off the Alumni mailing list. Don’t ever solicit another donation again.

Hurts to say it but I can’t support stupidity.

It’s to the point I’m going to take my diplomas down and completely cut all ties with the university.

I’m already to the point I’ll never give them another dollar, or set foot on the campus
