There are/were many GOP folks who promise to do all of the above things. Trump isn't coming up with most of the ideas or the details for the things you mentioned above. Paul Ryan would have given you the tax plan, and Rand Paul would get you out of foreign entanglements. One of the things that made Trump such a contrast to the entrenched GOP was his willingness and promises to drain the swamp. If he's not draining the swamp or locking up the people he promised to, he's a lot less different from the regular GOP than you'd like to admit.

I remember a football coach once telling one of my team mates, who, like you, was absolutely convinced everyone was aligned against him, that if it seems like everyone is aligned against you its you that has a problem, not them. That kid went on to become a roid head and eventually broke into a 70 year old woman's home and stabbed her multiple times.
The left ain't out to get you...they don't want you. Now that moderate republicans are no longer welcome in the GOP it is abundantly clear that the marginalization of the largely uneducated and marginally successful in life are even further in to trash bin of history. Its going well currently for them after 70 years of setbacks but that tide is going to swing back the other way as it always has...no society has ever regressed successfully, all have eventually progressed...thats why MAGA resonates because of a dream of a country which never was except for one demographic and that demographic is slowly losing its stranglehold on western insitutions world wide.
If everyone and everything is set upon your destruction you are the one with a problem cause here is a little life lesson so many people seem to miss....no one cares a tinkers damn about you and yours other than a very small group of people close to you....the rest of us aren't out to destroy you and your ideals we are merely living our lives and doing so does not jibe with your world view because that view is narrow and too shallow to encompass the complexity of the world. What we are seeing is one of many last dying gasps of the world where being white and male and straight was all that was required to be successful with a modicum of effort...and it is going to get worse and worse for us...we are going to have to put forth more effort with every generation...and many of you are incapable of competing.

"They" will not stop coming after Trump when he leaves office. I believe they continue to go after him after this election if he loses and after he's out in 2024 if he wins a second term.

The swamp wants everyone hopeless. They want people to think that no matter what they will riot in the streets with the help of govt agencies and even the Pentagon working against Trump. (They gave money for the dossier)
The only answer is Trump wins with full majority and he pulls the stopper plug to the swamp once and for all. Even then they will all still be there but all of DC starting with Congress needs fumigated.
