Why don't the capitalists simply capture people and enslave them?

Roger is like that South Park episode explaining how family guy episode bits are written.

The manatees are in a tank full of balls with libertarian cliches. That is what you’re arguing with.

This is why I asked him about the family thing. Apparently his position is that parents should just be cogs in the machine for the almighty dollar. Who gives a flip about anything else.

Do you care about nuclear family structure?

Yes, which is why I love the opportunity provided in this country.

You're making yourself look like a complete idiot in this thread. You should have dipped out when SFP figured out how stupid his position in the OP is.

Point them out.

Newsflash-No one is trying to crush the capitalists.

You on the other hand want to crush the middle class.

are universally antisocial contrarians with a personal animus toward America. These are people who, for whatever reason, have been marginalized social outsiders their entire lives. They're bitter, resentful, unhappy, miserable individuals who exorcise their impotent rage by aggressively arguing in favor of outrageously absurd political stances that would have devastatingly negative effects on American society

I'm somewhat antisocial, but the rest is pure garbage.

I enlisted in the military and spent over 20 years, partly because I liked it but mostly because I love this country.

I am also probably the happiest person I know. A lot of that was old fashioned hard work combined with some blind luck.

The fact is, Vivek was right. We have a culture problem. And it pisses me off. We used to be a country that would put in 70 plus hours a week to get the job done. The focus was on improving the country for future generations.

That isn't true anymore. We're focused on working as little as possible in order to maintain a certain quality of life.

Obviously there are exceptions to any "rule." I 100% believe goldennugget is a smart and talented American and that he would overcome any setback. I respect his hustle. We need more like him.

Not at all. Your "work life balance" probably isnt equal to mine.

I'll bet you chose to work for a massive corporation for the money and the prestige, but when you found out that it can come with mass layoffs you suddenly want protection.

We all have to remember that Rog weirdly admitted that being a tour guide for a few months a year burned him out and he had to quit

I think SFP would in part like to get the following admission as a trophy from making this thread, so I’ll go ahead and oblige him:

Pure capitalism is not synonymous with right wing.

The guy suggested his free cheese from the state of Alaska was life changing as some sort of gotcha.

But data suggests American Worker productivity is at an all time high, while wages are barely growing.
