They want to destroy the norms of the govt operating like a constitutional republic and want the executive branch to have powers they aren't supposed to have and be able to do just about anything.

Some might say this will swing the voters back to Republican control, but we saw how this didn't happen in 2022 mid terms. Not too mention it might not matter who the GOP runs for Prez, the cheating will keep the dems in power.

The public is too stupid to know (thanks to our education system) to know how the 3 branches work in balancing power, and will see nothing wrong with the Prez taking so much control.
This is planned destruction of the checks and balances and I don't know if there are enough thinking Americans to wake up and overcome the dems.

Correct.

It did not lead to the 7.8 trllion dollar deficit though. A vast majority of the debt was incurred when Nancy had the gavel and due to covid.

Of course texridder being disingenuous is nothing new.

Actually, , with this overreach, I would not have a problem with citizens storming it. You've now made my representatives meaningless.

I won't argue your point on GOP inaction during Trump's Administration. But this is essentially saying that the Constitution compels you to do it. That means that if a President passes a budget before an election that it has to be accepted by the incoming Congress in total and the means of funding are compelled. So either we can issue more debt and pay the nut on it or raise taxes.

Where is the check even if the check is largely bullshite?

I just re-read that amendment. How the Hell does anyone see justification in it for spending like a drunken sailor?

Unfortunately, the constitution did not address immigration unless an immigrant wanted to become President, Senator, or House member.

How did the Warren Court get a “right to privacy” out of the First Amemdment?

They used that power to authorize the spending that got us to the debt ceiling. Now Republicans don't want to pay the bills they ran up.

No we won't. There are not enough patriots in this country. Plus Biden and his admin control the military and they have all the big guns.

The only way to turn this around is for the military baws to turn the guns on these politicians. The military can gain full control if they want but they won't because like most powerful people in this country they are paid to serve the uniparty and the federal government.

One hell of a reach. But not surprising with the Biden Administration. They did the same for student loan debt relief justification

quote:

“The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned,” the amendment’s Section Four reads. “But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.”

Republicans just passed appropriations and raised the debt ceiling. The ball is now in the senate.

Republicans severely cut benefits for veterans and seniors. Negotiating on the full faith and credit of the US is unconstitutional.

You are a mother fricking lying dick bag.

But that is par for the course for a pussy radical leftist.

Talk shite, lie and run away.

The legislation does not make any specific cuts to veterans benefits and defense, but also does not specifically protect them, though leaders have pledged to do so as they pass funding bills later this year. Actual funding levels will be set during the appropriations process.

Thats bullshite..there are no cuts to military/veterans or seniors. The cuts would be 460 BILLION Biden has planned student loan forgiveness program. IRS budget cuts, green new deal tax cuts, and cutting welfare and SNAP benefits for people than are able to work but won't

It is typical lefty bullshite about cuts…

Any cuts, even targeted ones, will be claimed to be hitting the most vulnerable.

Christ, government agencies are such disingenuous frickers that requesting a 100% budget increase and only getting a 10% one is having their budget slashed by 90%.

Anarchy is the goal. Total confusion on all fronts. Break the system. Destroy the country. Biden is a traitor and needs to be impeached and tried.

If there is anarchy, there is no more constitution or law.

If there is no more constitution or law, the people having the “To be lawful or good?” debate internally no longer have an excuse not to act.
