Hawaii because that is the obviously correct answer. Texas is likely to be the epicenter of trouble.

This is assuming domestic shite flying, if it is international then the likely foe is China and Hawaii would definitely NOT be safe.

Alabama
Texas
Florida

My top 3. Most everyone here in Bama still believes in the old ways. Self sufficient, Band together and kick anyone's arse who tries to mess with anything. The liberals are trying to move the needle but are just outnumbered 8 to 1 here.

Texas is full of assholes... I guess I'd get used to them though.

Depends, are we talking domestic or international conflict.

Domestic - Deep South/Texas

International - Deep South/Texas

Never mind, same place either way.

Back home in Alabama. I know the rural parts of Wilcox, Butler, and Crenshaw counties well. I’d be like the Viet Cong hiding in the jungles waiting for the liberal pussies.

Texas, because I have been hunting there since 1999 and know a lot of ranchers with thousands of acres. This is west Texas of course. I hunt in Rocksprings Texas. It is the only town in the county. The nearest semblance of a town is 80 miles away. There are many caves in the area for preparers to store ammo, food water fuel etc. I know this because I have seen this. I am also invited to be there anytime with my family if shite would go down.

Anyplace in Florida above the I-4 corridor and all the way from Jacksonville to Texas along I10 would probably be fine. Avoid big cities along the way.

All the folks saying anywhere on or around the Gulf Coast or SE Atlantic Coast are only planning a short term escape if the SHTF. Eventually a hurricane will hit and all your stuff is done for. SHTF and you are not getting a Fed bailout, no Red Cross food/water. It's gonna be you and Hurricane ____, and in a SHTF scenario you will not be given early warning from NOAA as it will not be functioning.

I'll stick to the Great Piney Woods area of ETX, CENLA, AR.. Fish, game, fertile land, woods, water.

I’d stay in Louisiana flanked by Texas, MS, and Arky.

I'd feel safest where there are the fewest people. But I'll have to stick to my bug out location in north central alabama. Definitely not crowded. But definitely not empty either. At least they are all true salt of the earth people.

My farm with about 800 acres of forest. Drones wouldn’t even be able to pick us up. Also have food sources, weapons and well. No power which would suck though. Honestly, no electricity is about the only thing I would really hate.
