Please remind them that Pelosi has been in office since 1987. Before that she was head of the DNC of California. Before that she was a representative to the DNC from California.

She has been a career politician since the age of 36. She's now 79.

That is all.

TRUMP unironically does need more than two terms tough to the job he's doing for us done.

But yeah I get that we shouldn't talk about it till after he's already won reelection.

I heard the same stories passed around about Barry starting in his 1st term. I didn't believe those either.

No. It isn't.

She's a 79 year old woman who has been in congress for 32 years and before that was head of the California Democratic Party. Before that, she was elected as a Democratic National Committee member from California at the age of 36. Yes, 36. She's been a lifelong politician and has never known anything else.

She's never had a real job and doesn't understand what normal life is. These are the people running our government.

Their entire livelihoods are supported by lobbyists and foreign interests. Literally. That's how they support themselves.

We need mandatory term limits and mandatory lobbyist reform.

Yes. Absolutely. He's 7 years older than Pelosi and he assumed office in fricking 1981.

He's going to get a few 30 year senators to attack him about term limits and then flip the script on them. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

What do term limits have to do with Trump threatening to stay? Does a lack of term limits at the legislative level justify Trump "threatening to stay"? Doesn't really make sense.

A concern with term limits is it becomes easier for an AOC type of representative to get “auditioned” and puppet-stringed by a financial backer to do their bidding, and harder to track a pattern of stances on various types of issues.

Ideas on how to prevent this?

Is there really anybody stupid enough to believe Trump is serious about “threatening to stay”?

I’m all for everybody having term limits. No way a person should go to Washington and make a career and money out of it. Then again, part of the problem is the people voting for these fools.
