Same way you ban shouting fire in a crowded theatre. Although CRT is much more dangerous

Your move Bill Lee

...Pretty sure it refers to banning the theory being taught in schools.

I had a pretty sweet retirement gig I could’ve taken in Coeur d’Alene. Wife wouldn’t go for it, wanted to stay where our roots are in the country. I looked at it as a chance to bust my children and future grandkids out of the culcha of the dirty south.

It’s based on Marxist critical theory.

It says that society is broken into oppressors and oppressed. And that oppressors are white and oppressed are people of color. And that all of society is based on this oppressed/oppressor dynamic.

It's the whole whites are bad. 1619 project stuff. Def behind if you haven't heard about. Trump stopped it but biden is pushing in the military. It's literally racism towards whites being taught to kids.

TX just got a anti-CRT bill thru committee, so hopefully TX becomes the 2nd. Helps when others do it, but not so much when it's a lily white state.

We need this garbage to end.

When you try that hard to sound linguistically smart, you actually go in the other direction.

What is Critical Race Theory?
quote:

CRT is loosely unified by two common themes:

First, that white supremacy (societal racism) exists and maintains power through the law.
Second, that transforming the relationship between law and racial power, and also achieving racial emancipation and anti-subordination more broadly, are possible.

Critics of CRT argue that it relies on social constructionism, elevates storytelling over evidence and reason, rejects the concepts of truth and merit, and opposes liberalism.

By not allowing state-funded agencies to use state dollars to teach it?

quote:

It bans educators from forcing students to “affirm, adopt or adhere to” any teachings that profess that an existing identity group is inherently superior or inferior to another or responsible for any historical wrongs associated with their identity group.

quote:

also affirmed the obligation of teachers to protect the right of students to express differing opinions and “foster and defend intellectual honesty, freedom of inquiry and instruction, and freedom of speech and association.”

And Montana passed legislation prohibiting employers from mandating vaccines. States are waking up.
