Biggs said that it looks like both immigration bills to be voted on Thursday are some sort of DACA amnesty. He said upwards of 6-8 million illegal aliens would be granted amnesty, including parents because chain migration would only be "limited"
I doubt there will be a veto-proof bill, but he said the leadership is currently whipping votes for both bills: Ryan amnesty and the watered down Goodlatte bill

Correct me if I’m wrong but back in Jan of this year or Dec last trump did say he was for amnesty of DACA? This was tweeted out multiple times before Schumer and pelosi balked on the deal completely because of other requirements.

Veto it and let congress override it. Then it is on them. Then hammer down on anyone running for re-election in Nov.
Refuse to sign a Ryan omnibus bill and shut the govt down. Hammer that with the veto and tell Americans it's time for real change. Vote them all out.

Goodlattes original bill was a conservatives wet dream but it of course had hardly enough votes to bring to the floor.
Truly shows how pathetic and useless the GOP is.
This is a short synopsis of both bills. I think Trumps tweets back in January were effective in that it outraged DACA that Schumer and pelosi balked at a plan to free them up. However now that tweet might come back to bite trump because I don’t like Ryan’s plan at all..I don’t think many conservatives will either.

I'd even be ok with limited chain migration. If we have a wall, it's just added to the overall limit of legal immigrants we allow per year.
So if we used to allow 1M per year outside of chain migration which took the number to 10M, then just say 1M is inclusive of chain migration.
