Mike Rogers does an internal audit at NSA, sees the abuse, self reports to the FISC and shuts down rogue "ask queries" from various sources. He even tries to get Horowitz from the IG to do an audit of the DOJ intel division and is shot down with a 58 page lashing by Yates.

They are all after him and want him fired, Clapper starts nasty rumors about discord within the entire NSA due to Rogers. Trump is elected and Rogers, without permission, goes to visit the president.

At this point Trump trusts no one, least of all the IC boys, anything they show or tell him could be planted/fabricated/you name it.

What did Rogers tell or show him that made him move his entire transition team out of Trump Towers that next day? Ill grant you Rogers had at his disposal the most amount of collected data on earth. Id sure like to know.

Like others on this site have alluded, I think Trump was shown the whole cabal and the Sessions recusal was planned to put him a country mile from the event so he is pure as driven snow when he does come in with the indictments.

Leave it to a couple of southern boys, Rogers and Sessions, to rescue the democracy in its hour of need.

UNFORTUNATELY, THAT IS THE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT ANSWER.

MOST OF US DON'T WANT TO KNOW AND WON'T BE HAPPY WHEN WE FIND OUT WHAT WAS TOLD.

Both POTUS and Mike Rogers will be remembered as two American patriots who, together, saved this country from a total collapse of which we would’ve likely never recovered from.

Neither could have done it without the other.

They’re both true American heroes in many peoples’ eyes, including mine.

History will look back on them fondly, no doubt.

I am guessing you were too stupid or lazy to watch the entire video. Just saw a click bait title and went with it.

We don't know for sure he showed him anything, but the circumstantial evidence and coincidences suggest he did.

I am inclined to believe he did because it's obvious Rogers was not applying to keep his position (since he is retiring as we speak). And if Trump wanted him to retire, why didn't Trump appoint someone else immediately? Why wait over a year into his term?

So if he wasn't going up there to keep his position, then there's really nothing else that makes sense other than he told Trump "Obama tapped your wires."

Thanks Clare. I just look at the fact Trump has not hesitated to take out numerous staff, and while he has publicly lashed Sessions....nothing.

Sessions has followed Trumps lead on immigration he is a pit bull, MS-13 ditto, opiods, yet he continues to publicly state he wants no involvement with hils or russia.

Putting Rosenstein in as acting AG was pure gold. He knew he would appoint Mueller and bring in the whole cabal, no need to try and weed out the bad characters, these two clowns did it for him.

Maybe Im wrong but it just seems like a case of occams razor to me.

I have wonder that myself and also what was Mueller doing the Oval Office the day before he was appointed? That to me has always just seemed odd.

Me too. Some said it was to interview for Comey's job, but he cant legally be reappointed, so what was he doing there?

Maybe Trump wanted to feel him out and realized what a snake he was and perfect to head up the witch hunt and expose it for what it truly was. In other words Trump was playing the playa and Mueller's hubris led him to believe Trump was just an amateur when it came to the deep state.

Speaking of Yates, she was babbling on a mainstream outlet about Trump ruining her 27 years of service above reproach with his tweets bashing the intelligence agencies.

I think she used the word reckless.

LOL
