So whatever Paul is speaking of in Ephesians 6 and 1 Corinthians 2 is not some view where Jesus was incarnate in Heaven only and crucified by Roman execution in Heaven by demons. No, 1 Corinthians 2 speaks to Jesus being killed by earthly rulers (Pilate, Herod, and Ciaphas) being moved to purpose by demonic powers

I want to revisit 1 Corinthians 2 with you.
quote:

6Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. 7But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory.

-Only the mature in Christ (not new initiates, aka “infants”) were told the secrets of the faith. This was a cult of secrecy.
-The Archons of this Aeon (Rulers of this Age) are doomed to pass away. Why is this significant? Well humans of course will die. This is significant because it is talking about the Archons, who were deities that controlled the lower heavens and Earth, but even though they are deities, they’re doomed to pass away like mortal men.

Where have we seen that before? Ah yes Psalm 82.
quote:

6I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you; 7nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince.”

Let’s skip back to 1 Corinthians 2…
quote:

8None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Of course Paul makes no mention of Pilate, any of the Herods, or Ciaphas. That’s your wishful thinking - you just need a little bit of “it’s not impossible” to validate your dogma. Is it possible Paul was talking about Pilate, one of the Herods, and Ciaphas? Sure. Is it plausible? No. Paul would have to be rather incompetent in his writing to not mention something as important as that if that’s what he meant and wanted to convey. Elsewhere Paul wrote “indeed there are many called Gods and Lords”. Your Bible probably has “so-called” but that’s a symptom of the dogma of the translator overwriting the Greek.

The term “archon” was sometimes used- rarely - to refer to humans. Most of the uses in the Bible it referred to deities though. But in every case I can find, whenever ANY of the Bible authors use “the rulers of this age” or “the rulers of this world” just like in Ephesians 6:12 they are talking about spiritual beings in the sky that ruled earth based on the authority given to them by God (in Deuteronomy 32:8-9).

Maybe I’m all wrong. Maybe these rulers were just men all along. If only we had some parallel, maybe some text or scripture that Paul used or that may have been a contemporary of Paul’s letters, we’d know for sure.

Or maybe all we have to do is open the Ascension of Isaiah. You know the one. Let’s start in chapter 9 verse 9.
quote:

And there I saw Enoch and all who were with him, stripped of the garments of the flesh, and I saw them in their garments of the upper world, and they were like angels, standing there in great glory. But they sat not on their thrones, nor were their crowns of glory on them. And I asked the angel who was with me: "How is it that they have received the garments, but have not the thrones and the crowns?" And he said unto me: "Crowns and thrones of glory they do not receive, till the Beloved will descend in the form in which you will see Him descend … into the world in the last days the Lord, who will be called Christ. Nevertheless they see and know whose will be thrones, and whose the crowns when He has descended, and been made in your form, and they will think that He is flesh and is a man. And the god of that world will stretch forth his hand against the Son, and they will crucify Him on a tree, and will slay Him not knowing who He is. And thus His descent, as you will see, will be hidden even from the heavens, so that it will not be known who He is

The ascension of Isaiah is filled with the powers, principalities, rulers, and gods of this world/age/Aeon. They are defeated by the beloved, who they will kill, not knowing the secret plan of God to defeat them. They will kill the beloved, the Lord, in the lowest heaven and then he will be resurrected, at which point he will be named Jesus, be highly exalted, be given a throne at God’s right hand, and will inherit the full authority of the earth from his siblings who will be defeated and killed.

If that’s not Paul’s gospel, it is one very similar to Paul’s theology. It’s the gospel of the celestial Jesus who never walked on earth.

Don't mistake your inability to comprehend as incoherence on my part.

Hey, just curious: would a Charlie Kirk be admitted into your scholars' guild? Be sure to answer with "coherent logical arguments with supporting evidence."

Not applicable, but on your part it’s not simply incoherence but laziness.

I am not a scholar nor in a guild.

How about you focus on getting the Catholic Church to clean out the globalists, church officials who ran the human trafficking NGOs who were taking billions to house illegals under Biden and expel the pedos and those involved with the cover up for centuries before you continue on with your ridiculous rants about the Protestants.

Yawn.
It's hard to argue that many protestant churches are straying. I know your place in a denomination formed by the schism of your sect is not, but the protestant church of my youth certainly is as are a couple more churches that were on the same block. It's good the Baptists haven't strayed.
