Did anyone else catch the two or three times he said that? He's basically throwing Odumma under the bus saying he should have done the things Trump called him out for not doing for 8 years.

In the previous debate Biden said he was just a citizen - not someone able to persuade other Democrats by calling on Dem mayors.

Biden was chosen as VP. Because of his network with other senators and mostly because of his grip on Midwestern unions. Period. Obama likely didn't really want him but it was a deal with the devil. There is a reason Biden wasn't the nominee after Obamas term was up.
