I voted straight Republican too cuz of the way the Democrats mistreated Judge Kavanaugh was disgraceful.

A very heavy turnout in a midterm election is not normal and any kind of foreign policy influence will be even more strange than ever before for those American people doing the voting. Because as long as I can remember the country's economy was always the main reason that the American people voted.

That we are now being told that this 2018 midterm election will see a very heavy turnout of voters voting because of the caravan of people walking from Guatemala through Mexico to America looking for jobs.

Really? I voted straight Republican because of the way the Democrats mistreated Judge Kavanaugh, and that President Trump helped out our country's economy. That I want this country economy to be strong and prospers and where we don't publicly accuse other people of crimes we cannot prove.

A lot of people have I'd imagine. This will affect close local races. That's not good for the Dems. Many local races are more diverse with a voter concerning party affiliation. They don't care as much for party but the Kav experience more than likely changed that for this election.

I voted straight libertarian where there was one and republican where there wasn’t. Except for the house, I will not vote for rick Allen. So I didn’t vote for that office at all.

Until the rhetoric from the left calms down, I agree here. Was pretty shocked yesterday when a Dem friend said she voted for Republican judges and I laughed bc she is an ultra liberal. I asked why she would cross over to the dark side and she said R judges follow the law by the book unlike Dems lulz

There is hope yet!

I voted Saturday. There were 2 candidates for the school board. Clueless as to who they were except one was D, the other R. Anyone who dares to associate themselves with the D crazies is not worthy of my vote. I voted R.

Tired of people blaming the "extreme" (elected) sector of both parties. Elected Democrat extremists are in another universe. Even the farthest of the elected right has some semblance of reason and civility.

This is the first time I voted straight Republican. My wife also. We don’t trust any democrats anymore. Local or national races. The way they treated Kavanaugh showed they would do anything to get back in power.

A lot of people on the left should be investigated by Columbo for repeated media repetition assassination of President Trump.

The daily Newspapers of the New York Times and Washington Post along with the TV Networks like MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, and CNN keep attributing violent crimes to President Trump without any real evidence at all.

What they are doing is making themselves so distrusted that all of the MSM will suffer everywhere.

That President Trump is not anti-Semite or racist and that those people now saying that about him over this country's airways are fermenting social harm and insanity to President Trump. By accusing innocent people of something they are not guilty of is deeply harming this country's MSM by making themselves a public slaughter everywhere they go.

So I am going back to watching another episode of Columbo that I'm enjoying very much.

The case of the liberal culture membership desperately trying to keep fooling large blocks of minority voters everywhere. That President Trump hates and wants to harm minorities because he is a white supremacist according to the MSM.

I was listening to the double standard Washington Post reporter who targeted Richard Nixon also try to do the same thing with Trump.

Isn't entrapment, and bearing false witness against your neighbor breaking the laws of God and man? So why is this Watergate Post reporter so fearful of Donald Trump that is driving him to publicly behave this treacherous way towards President Trump? What did he do wrong reporting about Watergate and Richard Nixon that he's so frightened of us knowing while he's still alive? Now I believe that Bob Woodruff and his editor of the Washington Post have dirt underneath their fingernails regarding that issue.

When someone I know, says "I vote for the man, not the party", I cringe. If you are conservative, and more closely align yourself with the Republican platform, how can you vote for a Democrat? By joining that party, they are openly saying, that they are the opposite of your values.

The problem with people that vote for a candidate, and not party is, these people are easily snookered by a politician and don't take the time to listen and understand the issues, vision, and plan of the candidates. They are all about image over anything else.

the democrats have gone way way too far. calling Trump and supporters ISIS terrorists. who is this arsehole that claims to be republican?
quote:

According to the rage-fueled tirade of MSNBC faux Republican strategist Steve Schmidt during Monday’s edition of All In, presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway, the President, “Mark Levin, and Rush Limbaugh, and Breitbart, and NewsBusters, and Judicial Watch, and all the rest of them, have blood on their hands for the incitements that they have made that have triggered and radicalized these crazy people.” How grotesque and vile.

Schmidt began this part of his long-winded rant by suggesting those he would later name were a part of the “crazies” William F. Buckley had kicked out of the conservative movement:

What we are seeing is the co-option of the conservative project, the Republican Party in a cult of personality which is fundamentally unconservative led by Donald Trump, that is authoritarian in nature, that is antithetical to the orthodoxies of the Republican Party and the conservative movement as they have existed over the last 40 years. But it is something more. It is the incitement.

The rabid MSNBC commentator was also incensed that Trump would dare slam CNN and the rest of the liberal media while they were trying to tie the bomber and mass murderer to the President. “What he is saying to the next sick person on the end of the transmission is, ‘if you take an action, it's because they deserve it,’” he asserted.

He parroted the same twisted smear GQ magazine Julia Ioffe spewed on CNN (as did Jim Sciutto last week), which was that Trump was radicalizing people like ISIS has done. “What we are seeing, just as we saw young, displaced, evil or sick or just plain losers be radicalized by ISIS, we are seeing the same thing in the United States right now,” he declared. “These two losers, these two sick people, these two evil people, three evil people, being radicalized by this right-wing propaganda industry, and that's exactly what it is.”

“40 percent of the country has opted into an alternate reality,” he spat after criticizing conservative media’s coverage of the migrant caravan. Schmidt then argued that “[w]e have to wake up in this country and understand the danger that this presents to all of us. We can't put our heads in the sand.”
