There will never be another war on American soil - god willing. The world is different now. Plus there's no real geographical split, and the leftists hate guns. Would be a really short civil war.

Hmmmmm .... interesting.
How so? Do explain yourself please, if you do not mind and if you have a moment or two to do so. Thanks in advance.

my side will win. Look at the voter map from the election, they are the easiest target...

I think you misunderstand who would take what sides and how it would look. There were a LOT of areas sympathetic to the other side in both the north and the south. New Orleans was very sympathetic to the north, while areas of the north in rural parts were sympathetic to the south.

There is not a genuine geographical split, correct. However, there is a well defined ideological split, and there is always the potential for 4GW (asymmetrical warfare) and/or economic warfare/demographic warfare. Sure, it is highly unlikely, and of course traditional warfare involving guns and explosions is outdated in a multipolar international system. The idea that some posters here have regarding a civil war involving guerrilla warfare tactics and actual violence and death is absurd, but strategic interests and interest groups can definitely disenfranchise demographic groups and entire regions of the nation if and when they gain enough leverage to do so.
Any violent internal conflict today within the US would likely encourage outside powers to intervene for various reasons, as George Soros and some other non-state actors are currently involved in. In fact, NGO's like the Open Society Foundation and the Quantum Fund (Soros companies) would likewise have to be considered enemies of the state and possibly classified as terrorist organizations, if it gets to the point where the impact is strong enough to destabilize nations and create national security threats.

I can say as a 13F forward observer that there were very few minorities. Mostly white males. This is my 1st hand experience. The minorities have a tendency to go into soft skill MOSs.
