Sorry if can't follow direct replies to a point YOU made, which wasn't about vaccination status at all, it was about the distinction between gene therapies and vaccines.

Feel free to list ALL vaccines that do NOT contain antigens, excluding the recent mRNA platform and/or viral vector treatments.

And don't tell me Reuters is "fake news" or whatever. Dismissing the source is a bull shite argument.

You continue to preemptively defend your sources, which I certainly hadn't questioned...until now.
It's quite clear where you get your blatantly biased info when your last 3 have been Johns Hopkins (host of Bill Gates funded "Event 201"),
the New York Times, and now Reuters.

I don't dismiss them, but unlike yourself, I'm fully aware of their bias & the funding behind it.

People still die from 'common' flu as well. Your sad attempt to vilify anyone who dares questions the corporate science is telling.

It's very typical for people to dismiss the source as their very first reply. Happens all day long here. Already happened to me plenty of times.

The science says ivermectin is useless against Covid.

Ahhh... gotcha.

So the ONLY effective treatment for Covid is the vaccine, there simply are no others, in your opinion, would that be a correct statement? Or just that ivermectin is ineffective.

No.
The vaccine isn't a treatment for Covid. It's a preventative vaccine. It doesn't treat people with Covid.

As for treatment for people with Covid, there's Paxlovid, which lessens symptoms and speeds up recovery. There's also treatment with monoclonal antibodies, which Trump received when he had Covid in 2020. He probably would have died if he didn't.

Sorry, I misspoke. I am aware the the vaccine isn't a treatment for Covid. It's a preventative that neither prevents one from getting Covid nor prevents one from transmitting Covid. But it's a preventative nonetheless. We might say it's an ineffective preventative, mightn't we?

Oh it does. It's as effective as any vaccine out there. Just not 100% of the time.
Last I checked it prevents serious illness in about 85-90% of people, and prevents transmission about 60% of the time.
I think a big mistake people make about vaccines is assuming they prevent all illness and transmission 100% of the time, or not at all. That's not true for any vaccine. There is no vaccine that is 100% effective, even polio, measles, etc.

And yet it's the "only" way we will stop covid, right? And people who do NOT get vaccinated are literally putting other people's lives at risk, right?

A vaccine that at best prevents transmission only 60% of the time (if that). Transmission of a virus with a better than 99% survival rate. A virus that you can even have and not know you have because you literally have no symptoms. But you want everyone to get vaccinated...

Question, if it were up to you, would you literally force people to get vaccinated? Just curious.

Most vaccines prevent transmission about 60% of the time, while preventing serious illness about 90% of the time. The Covid vaccines are about as effective as any vaccine out there.
There's also other ways to prevent transmission, such as wearing a mask in crowded spaces.
The survival rate has been estimated at 97-99%, depending on which population is surveyed. Believe it or not, that's about same survival rate as the 1918 influenza, which was the last great pandemic.
And even with that survival rate, Covid still managed to kill over a million Americans. And after the vaccines became available, it killed over 250,000 people who would have survived if they were vaccinated, but they were too proud or too scared to get the shot.
No one has ever been "forced" to be vaccinated. It's always a choice. I know a guy who works in an ER in Georgia. He got fed up from hearing lectures from non-physicians coming in for other complaints when he told them they should get
vaccinated for Covid. He got tired of the lectures about how the shot didn't work, lectures about "spike proteins" and the 99% survival rate, and so on. So it happened one time too many, and he said to the vax refuser, "Go home and fricking die, then. I don't care. Your choice."
There's plenty of places in the world you can't travel to unless you have certain vaccinations. You can't even work at Fox News unless you are vaccinated for Covid, barring a valid medical reason. Religious exemptions are not granted because there is no religion that bars vaccination.
It takes a certain understanding to know how vaccines work within a population, and the cynical dismissal of the understanding that no vaccine is 100% effective resulted in over 250,000 Americans dying from a totally preventable disease.
Refusing a vaccine doesn't prove someone is smarter, or that they're tough, or that they even know the odds. It only shows they're afraid of vaccines.
