Its because this board believed there was no way Republicans would lose the House. Then the goalposts were moved to losing 40 seats in the House wasn't as bad as Obama's midterm, and finally losing 40 seats plus 7 governors is actually a good thing and Trump has them right where he wants them.

The point of the original OP was that give a little power, especially in the House, the Dems were gonna act crazier than a shite house rat and long game that was gonna help Trump in 2020.
Based on what we have seen even in the last week, how is that a bad take?
