Brilliant, so you agree. There literally was nothing close to an insurrection, meaning the right has almost no control over what lies the left spins. So unless you are willing to concede we do literally nothing ever, we will carry on protesting, voting, campaigning, and fighting for our country. The world is watching.

You already lost this war decades ago. Conservatives invested in the wrong institutions and are paying the price today. You cannot win with brute force and have to be smarter. January 6 was the literal opposite of being smarter in every single way.
It was completely symbolic of the Trump movement trying to turn the Republican party into the lower class party of dumb, angry people. You want to make that what a "real conservative it" then you have to live with the choice (like living with the choices of investing in the wrong institutions).

Agree with all of this....it was beyond dumb and has given his enemies sufficient ammo to come after him. A massive unforced error and bi treason why I thought we should move beyond Trump this election cycle.

January 6th just showed how dumb people on both sides are. Both the people who traveled from around to country to hear another stupid rally speech and the people who "feared for their lives" because a bunch of hicks were walking through the halls .

America watched the trashiest, most derelict, dregs of society burn cities, attack police, and even saw communist warlords annex parts of Seattle - but you are worried about Republicans being framed as low class over one protest? By who a-hole? The media? They were going to do that anyway.

If that would work, in the manner you're using it, then all of those "terrorist" arrests during the War on Terror the now-Trump fans celebrated in the pats would have been thrown out. Or, now all of the "white Christian nationalist terrorists" being arrested today via similar designs.

That's just your TDS talking. You know, deep down, that there would have been some other cooked up scandal to replace J6 if it hadn't happened. We got muh documents, muh election interference, muh E Jean Carroll, muh real estate values. You cant breathe without the left putting a scandal on you. There is a growing number of Americans that aren't going to hold their tongues anymore for fear of being cancelled by the left, that sentiment may come with some pain, but its the right path for the cause. Its long overdue.
