I don’t disagree, but you have to play the cards you’re dealt, and therein lies the difference between the two. Hell Trump can’t even get his appointments in because his own party is fighting that. That doesn’t mean Trump isn’t pissed about it, but he understands his hand.

Massie funded this war while Trump was out of office.
Congress, which Massie is part of, holds the purse strings.

Trump is solving problems at home and abroad, cleaning up the mess that Massie and his brethren have created the last few decades.
If Massie decided to be cooperative towards solving these problems he would probably be treated differently. Instead he would rather be an attention whore.
Spot on assessment of Massie. Actions speak louder than his daily Tweets.

Because Trump the President has no problem being at odds with Trump the Campaigner.
So, just pull a Massie and be an all-or-nothing, line in the sand contrarian and get NOTHING accomplished, none of your agenda that American people elected you to pass, passed? Because if everything is a line in the sand and at odds with Mitch McConnell's GOPe/uniparty neocon establishment Senate, then you will get NOTHING passed... but you can pat yourself on the back and suck your own dick for being "principled." I guess that's the silver lining for do-nothing contrarian Liberaltarian nerds like Massie and his followers. The Liberaltarian street cred is worth it, apparently.

You have it backwards.
Exactly.

There are two kinds of politicians in the US now: the ones Trump is fighting against and the ones he going to be fighting against.

I agree. Massie should shut the frick up and be realistic, given the circumstances in the Senate and GOPe control.

Massie isn’t a RINO. However he is a contrarian. He needs to learn to pick his battles better.

I do.. massie is a RINO
He's a contrarian and an attention hooer.
He's a beta male version of Murkowski and Collins.
He thrives on claiming to be smarter than everyone else in the room ... and if anyone doesn't believe that all they need do is ask him.

The routine where any Republican who doesnt lay down and roll over for Trump 100 percent of the time gets called a RINO is extremely silly and ditzy and retarded.

But you're right about one thing. Massie certainly is a career politician. For that reason alone I trust Trump WAY MORE than I do him.

Trump is very much a pragmatist. He says what he needs to say to get elected and then once elected, takes a significantly more measured and "deal making" approach once in office. He does not have a strict belief structure on many issues other politicians do.

Since we’re comparing apples and bowling balls, wonder why Massie isn’t in leadership?

Watch how many MAGA supporters come out against this bill just because Massie sponsored it: Baffling

I believe people are glossing over the key point here.
Even if you don’t particularly like Massie it still doesn’t make sense for him to be singled out by Trump to be ousted.
We have people like Murkowski, Cassidy and other RINO’s that literally voted to impeach Trump, among tons of other things. Yet Trump calls for a multi million dollar PAC to oust fricking Thomas Massie?? For being sort of a pain in the arse sometimes? That doesn’t make sense and y’all know it.

It does when you understand what drives Trump.
