Ratings will be huge. He can’t resist that.

I hope he does. I don’t think it’d go the way the Dems think it will.

The more he agrees the less likely they will allow. I’m sure they were waiting for him to say FU

Real talk: why would he?

Once the Dems lose both House & Senate their little committee goes up in smoke. They’re throwing a Hail Mary imo

I got a million bucks that says he does not...

PS: If I lose, I will pay when TRUMP is back in office, and the stock market is over 45,000....

Ratings will be huge. He can’t resist that.
Separation of Powers preservation really requires he take the case to SCOTUS, even if he wants badly to appear.

Perjury trap. Massive mistake to do so. He has nothing to gain by testifying voluntarily.

If he’s compelled to testify, then he’s going to have to take the 5th to protect himself, which they’ll breathlessly scream about.

There’s no possible W in testifying for Trump.

The sham committee will be dissolved by the time he would be testifying and Trump likely will be Speaker of the House shortly thereafter.

Normally I would take that phucking bet . But there is no way J6 committee will go through with him sitting down to do it if Trump says he would be happy to. Trump knows the lengths democrats went through to create this sham

Edit to say you wouldn’t payout either

After the election, hopefully the Reps win back the house and this committee goes away.
But the dems will say the republicans are lawless and covering for Trump by getting rid of the committee. "This is a threat to our democracy"

Not playing by their rules, were he to testify, would play right into their hands and gift them a contempt of Congress charge.

It’s what they want him to do.

It sounds good in theory, but they would just ask him leading questions and then cut him off when he doesn't give a yes or no.

He'll appear and the response to every question will be some iteration of:

a) frick you
b) Eat me
c) Eat shite
d) frick off

Someone said in another thread that an appellate court deemed the committee a sham. Therefore, they don’t hold any power to do anything.

Like I said before, this is what they want him to do so they can charge him with perjury, contempt, or some process crime.

If he is compelled to go, he has to take the Fifth persistently. Which will also play into what they want, but that’s just how it is until a new Congress in January.

His narcissistic personality disorder commands him to do so. He'll testify on his own behalf under oath, perjure himself, and face conviction and a federal prison sentence.

All these "Trump 2024" signs will be immolated in the ashheap of the history of political Darwinism.
