Custom built are the best. Eventually I’ll get around to building one with a 20 inch barrel since most of the out the box ones come 16”. Add a set of nice thermal optics for blasting hogs at night

Always best to be prepared beforehand.

P.S. It’s already been lost in a boating accident sadly.

Sorry to hear that.

I’ve been scouring the local waterways here for the honey hole gun cache. If I find it I’ll let you guys know.

I too lost all my firearms in a boating incident.

Once you fish out all of the guns, the boat might just float right up too. That would be a sweet deal, free guns and a boat.

Find somebody in a crunch financially, maybe going through the big D (and I don’t mean Dallas). They may sell.

Not cheap, but no ammo is right now. Maybe prices won’t be ridiculous once the election is over, and we see whether the marxists are going to go all in on violence as a solution.

$.58 per round is about as good as you can find right now.

So tell us about it. Describe all the pieces.

I was looking for one as well. I wanted my first AR to be an SBR in 300 BLK, but didn't want to wait on the tax stamp. So I decided on an AR-15 Pistol. Was able to find an Aero Precision Pistol Lower at one of the local gun shops. I wanted a BCM or Geissele Upper, but nothing was available. Finally found a PSA 300 BLK Upper available online and grabbed it. I had seen other Uppers available over the past few months, but they would literally sell out while I was putting them in my cart.

Anyway, love the pistol I built and it fits together like they were sold together.

Found 300 BLK ammo at Ammo.com and at Bass Pro Shops online. Wikiarms.com also has good deals on Bulk Ammo in 5.56 if that's what you need.

I went ahead and purchased the Omega 36M from Silencer Shop. They have Kiosks all over the country, so the paperwork and finger prints is so easy. Now I just have to wait 6 months for my Tax Stamp to come in and I'll have a nice Silencer.

Was able to find a cheap lower receiver (Anderson) for 50 bucks at Atwood’s of all places. The lower build kit I got from Palmetto State armory online for around $150 bucks. It’s MOE plus and has the rubber hand grip. The upper and barrel assembly is 16 inches and made of Parkerized steel. I ordered it from Bear Creek Arsenal online for $300. Total expenses come in at around $500. Just ordered some Magpul flip up front and rear sights off eBay for around 45 dollars. These will suffice until I decide on a red dot. I’m definitely not a gun guy but I’m happy with what I have.

There are several for sale at gunbroker.com. I've used them a couple of times, reputable site.

Do people like cleaning fouling out of every crevice and surface inside an AR receiver and bolt?

There's absolutely no need to do that.

Such a great site.

I’ve got my eye on a couple of Springfield Armory M1911 .45 ACP there right now. Trying to decide which one I want to (pardon the pun) pull the trigger on.

I just ordered the EOTECH HHS I, which is the EOTECH HWS EXPS3 Red Dot with the G33 magnifier.
