I an centrist by nature, a true swing voter.

I was happy Trump won because I believed he would be much more centrist than HRC and would undue some of the over the top SJW bullshite that has been perpetrated on our society.

The past week has made me very cynical about the leftist agenda. I can understand now why people advocate going HAM on their sorry asses. I am coming around to the stance that Trump and the GOP should say screw the leftist, give them nothing.

RAPE, KILL, PILLAGE AND BURN!!!

frick 'em. They lost. It is time they found out what that means. Elections have consequences, and so do all their reprehensible actions and rhetoric. Harry Reid should be number one in line for it too.

frick I hate the radical left.

The temptation to turn around and frick them for vengeance is real and strong and sounds good. But we cannot. We cannot stoop to their level.

there is something that I must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.

The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed our community must not lead us to a distrust of all liberal people, for many of our liberal brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. And they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.

We cannot walk alone.

Trust me, I want to frick these bleeding pussy liberals into the ground, but Trump, his supporters, and our country has an interesting potential here. If we wait out these idiots and these protestors and Trump gets to office and actually provides tax cuts for the middle class and rebuilds some infrastructure and actually attempts to revitalize broken inner city communities while remaining professional the majority of normal nonfringe people might come around and these vocal fringe groups will run out of steam.

If you feed into their bullshite you only further fuel their fire and desperate plea for attention.

The funny thing is when you say this:

quote:

I can understand now why people advocate going HAM on their sorry asses.

It doesn't really mean this:

quote:

RAPE, KILL, PILLAGE AND BURN!!!

It just means following the constitution and a little law and order.

Noting that radical really.

Why doesn't anyone talk about the Alt-Left?

Free College, Free Housing, Free Everything

BLM, Anti Business, Communist Ties, Pro Illegals etc etc...

They get to riot and destroy private property with no consequence

90% Tax rate is acceptable in their America

Only thing to do is destroy them!

Well yes, but you can reach across the aisle and work together........ you can appoint centrists to SCOTUS...... You can seek their input on other appointees....

or you can slash and burn.

Quit wasting time on PT, you are a rare literary talent and should be sharing your gift with the world......, PT is not worthy of your efforts.

It's always a wow factor when you can find a way to work antidisestablishmentarianism or supercalifragilisticexpialidocious into a piece of work, people who appreciate the written word love it.

They fight for something, and when they win it becomes the baseline for the next battle. Example: Say a tax rate is 20%... they want 40%. They will force the other side to take a "compromise" at 25%. The compromise is now the baseline for further increasing the rate. They keep doing this until they get slapped down... then they keep going. Smacking them down only delays them.

Progressivism is just that... little by little. Any progress in implementing their agenda is progress, and should be taken. The baseline moves, and the battle starts again. Over time, they eventually get what they want, as they only have to wait long enough for the majority of people to forget the last battle.

There is never a time where you can say "we won that fight, so it's decided" against the Left. They never stop. They are never happy.
