The republicans with the exceptions of Trump and a few others are cowards or as Les Miles would say "don't have the chest" to stand up to democrats trying to destroy the USA. The Louisiana republicans in the state legislature have done and are going to do nothing to stop JBE's shutdown of the state. I'm still voting for Trump and donating to Trump's campaign, but I'm done with the GOP until it find its backbone.

Yes I know this is a dear FB type of post, but IDC.

This is the problem with the Republican Party. No, wait, this is the problem with people who aligned with the party but were too lazy to get involved, attend the local events, get to know people and develop a voice, and initiate change on their own terms.

Sorry WeeWee, but you were a lazy Republican and now lay the blame at the feet of others when really, you only have yourself to blame for not participating.

Plus the GOP's reluctance to avoid embracing legalizing weed is still baffling to me. More liberty for citizens and more tax dollars for governments to use on improving stuff. It also takes money away from the cartels and drug dealers. It is a win-win for everyone.

Bold move in an election year when both sides are saying that you have to pick a side.

Been say'n for years " rebuglicans are the new democRATS and, democRATS are the new communists"!

Problem with repuglicans is, they only fight to keep what they have not to get back what has been lost.

Weak!

You hate to see it.

I’m not a Trump guy but when you see the lengths the Democratic Machine and the Media will go to destroy their opposition there’s just no way I will vote any way but republican.

Having said that, the OP is right-the GOP is too afraid of being branded as racist or insensitive to effectively represent its constituents. Cowardly. After the election the moderates of our country need to migrate to some sort of Common Sense party that is willing to call stupid what it is-stupid.

I have done my part. Two of my college roommates work for the GOP one at the RNC and one at LaGOP. I have made my opinions known. Sorry that I'm too busy being an essential worker on the front lines of a pandemic to go to party functions and suck up to old farts that still think Romney's and GWB's shite doesn't stink and worship at the grave of McCain.
