Lost any respect for Hannity once Colmes left. Hannity owes Colmes his career. Also Hannity fake water boarding stunt and consistent talking is nauseating

I caught some of Hannity on the radio this afternoon. He is backpedaling ferociously on war with Russia while simultaneously advocating the very steps which would lead to US-Russia WW3. Someone must have told him his base is not happy with him and he is tap dancing frantically.

Tucker uncharacteristically talked over Rep. Salazar (U-Florida) yesterday evening, but she was being emotional and stupid and wouldn't answer Tucker's question about militarizing our southern border.

I watched that segment - and I was not happy with the way Tucker treated Salazar.

He was forcing her to equate WWIII nuclear exchange with allowing Mig29's to be transferred into Ukraine.

That is a tremendously false equivalence. it is a point that could be discussed, but not at all a relevant conclusion.

Not sure what Tucker;s angle here is - but I think it is uncharacteristically weak.

Since when did following the Reagan Doctrine become pro war or as you put it rah rah about war?

Whenever you'd rather send Ukraine billions in military aid and engage physically in a ground war with Russia, rather than provide for the borders of our own country.

Peace through strength has been the hallmark of US foreign policy for decades.

It has? What about funding Ukraine is "peace through strength"? Peace through strength means having a well supplied and competent military. Not giving nations who are not allies, and who helped the theft of the Presidency billions in military aide.

Just because some people still believe in that philosophy doesn’t make them warmongers, globalists, or Neocons.

Look at the people who are still touting it. Just happens to be the warmongers, globalists, and neocons.

quote:

All it means is that some folks still believe in the very principles that won us the Cold War.

And that got us into the middle east with NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT.

Hannity is a circus clown. He regurgitates catch phrases like "reagan doctrine", "Peace through strength", "bought and paid for dirty dossier". He has become a charicature of Bush era Republicanism.

Jesse jumped on the good guys side too. Happy for him. His smart arse/quick demeanor is great for this political environment. He has potential to be a young O’Reilly.

I like Jesse as well but it’s been interesting to watch him evolve into adopting/mimicking some of O’Reilly’s style, pace of delivery, etc vs how he was a few years back when he would simply have his segment on O’Reilly’s show.

My wife and I have both commented how he’s seemed to have taken on some of the O’Reilly traits (minus the bombast).

worse ones are the military types who were not infantry or special operations talking big and bad.

Actually, the worse ones are the ones who ARE combat arms that give their profession a bad name.

Example: an Infantry Captain who never leaves the TOC and receives a CIB pretending he earned a medal of honor.

There's nothing worse than a veteran who embellishes his service. (or lies about it in the case of Richard Blumenthal) Only 7% of Americans are veterans. Less than half of that percent served in combat. That in and of itself puts you a cut above most others. There is absolutely nothing good that can happen about embellishing your service, since your DD214 is subject to a FOIA request if someone so chooses.
