I mentioned Buttigegs husband to a class of college students today

1. Most people still have no idea who he even is.

2. Of those who do know who he is, a large chunk do not know he's gay. It was talked about a lot early when he first entered the race, but as he became seen as a more serious candidate the media talked about it less and less.

I get the feeling he was supposed to be the token gay but he's exceeded expectation and now the media is doing their best to downplay it.

The minute we have two gay guys in the White House China, Russia, and half the Middle East attempt to invade. We will be the laughingstock of the planet.

I think Pete is not really gay, but asexual. He just wants to be the first "insert-identity here" president. I'm pretty sure his husband is the first man he ever dated.
