What a stupid fricking take. It may not, in the grand scheme of things, be a huge part of the debt. It is, however, a huge part of the culture of entitlement in government.

It part of what makes people so laissez-faire about government waste, fraud, and abuse

The purpose of the government is to see to the needs of the nation. It is not meant to be a large employer, unto itself. It is meant to help provide the environment for people- and private businesses- to grow and thrive. We don't need a standing beaucracy.

Once again. The "size" of the government is the same as 1960. It's the spending that's the issue. Until those habits are changed this means nothing.

Seems like a false statement to me.

Per the link - DOL #s

Roads already suck, schools already suck. The campus probably employs close to 2k people.
Kids are in private, vehicles are in full time 4wd

Do a little engineering and research and you should be able to develop a conclusion on the city and center

Consider this. We have no idea of the race, gender or sexual orientation of any of the employees that are being fired. We have no axe to grind against any of them on a personal level. We are not waging war against them. We ARE waging war against the people that ought to know better, and are willingly placing their interests above the common good of the citizens and laughing about it. While we all work our asses off, they are taxing us into oblivion, wiping out the middle class, and selling our country to foreign interests that want to destroy our country. We are quite aware of exactly what is going on, and are depending on the folks that just got elected to get to the bottom of these issues and right the ship. Even if you don’t agree, a rising sea will lift all boats, so you stand to gain even while protesting. I would suggest you keep an open mind, watch what unfolds, and reassess your position and light of the information that will be brought forward.

Depends on the area of employment. Some areas do better than others.

Also time of service will affect that too.

I googled and Gifman is right, 12s are right at 100 at Step 9 and 10.

I do well enough to sleep in sometimes, drink coffee at my kitchen counter however long I want to, duck hunt 60 days a year, and still live an upper class middle life with a couple of young'ns in private school.

But I'm my own boss and the government only takes money from me, never disburses it.

I'm sorry, I know of one guy that makes 90k a year and I won't disclose what he does, but AI could do it for him in minutes. He has to be on base 2 days a week and WFH 1 day. 3 days a week, making 90k because he had ties with folks up there. That's obscene money in 90% of America for 3 days a week. Literally most of Americans would trade jobs with this jabroni

You're either a liar, haven't read anything, or have some mental deficiency that impacts your reading comprehension. Hell, it may be all three.

That's BS. I have a LOT of people that work for me. MOST are conservatives. I have a few that are Liberals. I am as MAGA is they come, but I treat them all the same. If the conservatives don't perform, they are gone, same as the liberals. I would suspect that most good business men and leaders do the same. While they don't agree with their politics, they are NOT going to hold that against them, as long as they are good employees. The problem is that most all of these workers are lazy, entitled, inefficient workers, led by lazy, entitled, inefficient bosses. I don't care if R or D.....they must go.

I have no sympathy, at the end of every day we have to show what work we got done. If we run into problems ( happens) we have to let our GF know and at the end of the day he writes up what’s done and what didn’t and why. Not a bad concept. Not unreasonable,
