I think its clear what the play was this election. The NeverTrumpers who went all in on desantis, are to claim to be libertarians so that they can say I voted for Trump 3x, but from now on I'm going socialist
No one makes that big of leap in less than 2 years
They are all liars

Correct. Libertarian party is straight up trash. I do not consider most of them to be true libertarians

The party was taken over a long time ago really. Most of us vote republicans when possible.

There really is no other choice. I think a lot of Republicans are trash but given a choice between them and a socialist, it will always be Republican

I've never seen a conservative follow a neocon. The only time conservatives and conservative issues get any play are when democrats are in office.
Voting Ross Perot in the 90s were my best votes ever. If people hadn't supported him, we'd probably be even closer to Europe.

Bro... You're not half as smart as YOU think you are.
You're a fricking joke on this site.

Not much in the last 500K posts it seems.
He'd do what he has done for years... Come on here daily to defend liberals and failed liberal policies.

Perot was my first vote against the Democratic Party.
I knew Slick Willie was a smooth talking film-flam man......."I feel your pain."
Have voted R since 1996 and to be honest, in retrospect, not that impressed with the Rs either, however the worst Rino is 10x better than any DSA candidate.

I voted Perot as well. Also was a big Ron Paul supporter (only politician I ever donated to). Wish Rand was more like Ron. My screen name is not a reference to Rand Paul btw. He’s better than most of them though imo

100% spot on. Also the only person I donated too ever.
That's what I look for, people who understand the constitution and have a philosophy the way he does. If I saw another like that I'd donate to them too.
But he got attacked for the same stuff. The idea of liberty was "kooky".
I believe if the GOP had nominated him he could have beaten Obama. Instead they worked against him. They would actively cheat against him at straw polls allowing people to just literally buy votes. And it was all legal because technically it's a party thing and not an actual election thing.
They would rather the democrats win than to elect a conservative, and it's always the conservatives who are supposed to compromise.

Ron Paul would not be good for business for them (the business of enriching themselves while selling us out). The uniparty will never allow someone like that to come to power because it jeopardizes their own power. I think Trump is about the closest thing we can expect to someone like that. Trump gets a lot of hate but he’s doing everything he can in most ways to clean up Washington
