These people are trying to turn this into another perpetually whining website.

Trump always speaks in circles and just enough vagueness to allow his fan base to interpret it however they want, which usually benefits him.
The most consistent thing people loved about Trump is "he's gonna say what's on his mind" like, love or hate him- he's gonna say what he wants.
That's not what that speech was and I think it's demoralizing to a lot of us who are more moderate and voted for him. I would do it again and I don't regret my vote.
Just not the speech I was hoping for and I got nothing of value out of it. Honestly I'm more concerned of a hot ground war now.

A. He's not taking ownership of the chaos he caused. The Art of the Deal messaging works with cultists but not complex markets, and that overall messaging has hurt markets. He can't just walk all of that back with a speech where he doesn't even address how his choices caused this. Not only does it appear that he's adding more dishonesty on top of his prior messaging but until he has an honest commentary, none of the rational actors will take his proposed solutions seriously because he isn't addressing the actual problem (because that would require admitting he caused this).
B. He failed. Bigly. Anyone rational would have predicted that speech would send markets into a tailspin.

Pretty sure he just wanted to repeat how great we are, I mean "what a great leader, look how great I am!" He is starting to talk way too much and he freaks over every comic who says one thing that isn't that bad to a person who was brought up Right! What is right, if I have to explain then...I think he totally screwed up bending over to netenyahoo! He wanted it to be over when he dropped the bunker buster a while back but I guess nettenyahoo has something else on him that must be really bad? I hope and pray he figures it out Fast!
