Counting the actual act of crossing the border as part of the crime analysis is intellectual dishonesty. This is clear to anyone attempting to have a good faith discussion.

Yep, those are very complex matters that deserve at least a compassionate look. My concern is that you have a fella (or lady) that just illegally crossed the border....how's the determination made as to whether you have a future employee of the month in front of you, or instead someone of criminal mindset who goes on to do bad things.

he came to America legally 24 years ago, he just didn't keep up with is visa every 2 years...
once he lost it, well...a lot procrastination set in
He doesn't have a criminal record and he is a subcontractor...will not be an employee...though he would probably be fantastic, because he does a lot more than masonry...

You might can bull shite a common man or woman but not me. They've all got a fake social security number, just brilliantly honest folks. I only got through half of your post but right off the bat, I can tell you that as long as he doesn’t do anything criminal, I wouldn’t mind giving him citizenship. At least a visa with an opportunity for citizenship. I don’t feel sorry for those who come here illegally. My wife came here on a work visa and then busted her arse, while here, and got her citizenship. By the way, she is from a third world country. Also, she is smarter than any American that I know. Long story short, migrate but do it the right way.

I have heard of Hispanics gaining our welfare system, my brother in law is a social worker in Durham, he says they are more crafty than black people...but he never said these people were illegals
Hispanics are typically pretty family oriented
India's are very family oriented, to tell you the truth I feel more invaded by them by the day where I live...I feel like I am in a different country
