Not sure if this is another one of your troll threads, but I agree somewhat. Any LEO'S that take part in this type of stuff should go to jail. His colleagues need to hold them accountable.

LEO - ABUSES OF POWER - are your enemy.
I do not trust our DOJ or FBI when it comes to their abuse of their power. I think they have become corrupted and are biased which has resulted into a 2-tier justice system.
They have lost the trust of MILLIONS of Americans.

Defunding the police isn't the answer, neither is taking away their ability to obtain search warrants from judges elected by the people.
Besides, how many lawyers like the OP would be out of a job if we did away with policing altogether?

Yes. Yes it could. But it could have happened to any of us at any point in our lives. LEO will also take your property, claim it is related to drug trafficking, and you will never see it again.
This is all a big part of the "Defund the Police" slogan. I don't like the slogan. But we could definitely use some reforms.
